On June Wednesday, June the 17th 2020, Mr. Houtan Homayounpour, Head of the International Labor Organization for the State of Qatar and Mr. Mohammed Hassan Al Obaidly, Assistant Undersecretary for Labour Affairs at Ministry of Administration Development Labour and Social Affairs updated on the partnership between the organisms.
ILO office in Qatar is the first in the region and it was supposed to be in the country for a certain period but now, negotiations are taking place considering having the office as a permanent one.

A work group has been created with the Hospitality sector and based on that model they are now working with the security sector.
They are trying to speed up NOC elimination and minimum salary.
